National Reference Centers for soil
What is a National Reference Centre (NRC) within EIONET?
EIONET National Reference Centres for Soil (NRCs): are nominated by member and cooperating countries. They are nationally funded experts or groups of experts in organisations which are regular collectors or suppliers of environmental data at the national level and/or possess relevant knowledge of specific environmental issues, monitoring or modelling. NRCs operate in specific areas of environmental activity - for example soil. They play a role in technical coordination of these topics and work with the EEA and the relevant Euopean Topic Centres (ETCs). The NRC structure varies in accordance with the requirements and priorities of the EEA strategy.

The official list of EIONET NRCs is kept updated by the EIONET countries themselves on the EEA website.
